FMI’s products are usually crucial for all sorts of processes. This is why FMI’s entire operational management focuses on the delivery of absolute top quality, and the corresponding reliability, in every stage of production, from the purchasing of materials right down to the final inspections.

Quality assurance
Quality assurance is one of the most important considerations at FMI. A group quality manager provides all FMI divisions with support in this field and supervises compliance with the standards laid down. Production is continually checked by means of measurements. The measuring devices used are amongst the most advanced on the market. In certain cases, the production process is validated for and by the client.

Quality certificates
The FMI group has an imposing collection of certificates and registrations to its name. Depending on the specialization in question, the companies meet various standards such as the ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 13485 (medical) or AS/EN 9100 (aerospace) standards. They are also registered with the American Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
