Gereedschapmakerij Gerdijko in Tilburg is also a division of FMI.
Because of its excellent reputation with regard to precision (“to the micron”), Gereedschapmakerij Gerdijko complemented FMI perfectly. The company currently goes by the name of FMI Tooling and its main activities are tooling and the manufacture of tools, prototypes and dies and stamps. The staff has a great deal of experience with the making of follow-on cutting/bending tools, and interchangeable parts of cutting tools.
Production takes place in a conditioned room in which high-grade components are made by grinding and wire and sinker Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). The possibilities vary from single pieces to small batches. In addition to the flow of work from regular clients, FMI Tooling is a flexible supplier of service components and prototypes.
