We have always been keen to broaden the activities we carry out at FMI Bergen op Zoom but without making concessions to the committed, flexible way in which we work. Over the years we have realized this by acquiring a number of companies that each have an excellent reputation in their own specific fields. This has resulted in a group of companies that operate independently but can do more for the client together than the sum of what they have to offer as individual companies. We feel that it is now time to step out into the limelight. This is why we have recently expressed the mutual connections and collective strength of the FMI companies in a new name and a new joint house style. We would like to introduce them to you here. The following companies currently operate under the FMI flag:
FMI Precision (formerly Fijnmechanische Industrie Bergen op Zoom)
in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands. This company is a specialized manufacturer of one-off products to medium-sized batches of fine precision components for various branches including the aviation and space industries.
FMI Manufacturing (formerly Gereedschappen- en Machinefabriek Uden)
in Uden, the Netherlands. This company engages in various activities including building modules and the complete assembly of machinery.
FMI Instrumed (formerly Instrumek) in Schiedam, the Netherlands
This is a fine precision manufacturing company that specializes in the production of implants, components and instruments for medical applications and laboratories.
FMI Tooling (formerly Gereedschapmakerij Gerdijko / Q-MOLDDS) at Tilburg, the Netherlands
This company focuses on tooling and the manufacture of prototypes and designs and manufactures injection moulds.
Each of these FMI divisions is ready and waiting to be of service to clients and to meet their precise requirements. As we can cooperate with our specialized sister companies, we are able to execute extremely complex projects without the client having to worry about a thing!
