Return for Re-Use
FMI supports reusable mechatronic assemblies with a smart return process.
With our Return for Re-Use programme, both mechatronic assemblies and high-tech packaging can be returned for inspection, refurbishment and reuse. This extends the lifespan, reduces material waste and lowers the CO₂ impact of the entire supply chain.
To support this, we promote modular design principles, making systems easier to disassemble, repair and reintegrate into new production cycles.
